How it works

1. Name something that fits the prompt. Your lantern burns oil every second, and each answer refuels it. The fewer explorers who've named an answer, the more it refuels, and naming something rare that nobody has logged before is a discovery.
2. In endless play, answers get used up. Anything you name drops to 10% and regrows over about a week, on every prompt it fits, so fresh answers refuel the most.
3. Play the Daily Trail with friends. Everyone gets the same prompts and starts fresh, so scores compare. Share your result, or send any trail as a challenge.
4. The night gets harder. The trail goes underground, prompts get trickier and the oil burns faster. Scouting goals unlock at the first camp (score 5), and you pick an upgrade before each new area.
